The dealer must stand on a hand of soft seventeen and the dealer wins a Blackjack if he ties the player. A dealer twenty-two ties a player twenty-one, unless the player has a blackjack. The player can only split a pair once; any subsequent pairs cannot be split. If aces are split, the player can only take one hit and then must stand. The player can Double Down on the first two cards and must bet an amount equal to his original wager. There is only one hit after a Double Down. The game rules also allow for the Insurance Bet with a bet equal to half of the player’s original bet. The bet pays at two to one if the dealer has blackjack.
